Here is a picture instead. Bayley had me in tears because I was laughing so hard. She was in a different position on Jason's lap about every 10 seconds. Eventually she ended up with her feet on Jason's chest. Suddenly Jason had to stop his story and ask "what is in my beard!?" and Bayley, in her cute, little, high, 2 year old voice says "my toes!". Jason doesn't really like it if people touch his beard. I touch it anyway. If you are going to have a growth that big on your face it's going to be touched. End of story. And Bayley agrees!
Sadly thought I could post a video clip of Jason telling Mercy and Bayley a story, sadly i have to pay a montly fee in order to do that! Yeah right! The cutest part of the story was when Bayley responds with a "oh no!" to the Uncle in the story starting to cry because his nieces wouldn't listen to him. Good ol' Uncle JJ :)

It's getting cold outside! As much as I am not looking forward to snow, and driving in snow/ice, and being cold.. I do have to say that there are two reasons why I might like this winter better than the previous two (or three? I don't know how long I've been here!). 1) We are getting a gas fireplace! 2) We are determined to go cross country skiing this winter I might never move off of our wonderfully oversized green cozy couch as it's right beside the fireplace :) What more could I want on a cold snowy day than to sit there all warm and cozy with a cup of coffee and a book or Gilmore Girls and my husband near by? We went cross country skiing with my family last Christmas in Red Lodge, Montana and J and I LOVE it. I loved it! Nov has been a very busy month... as all months tend to be :) Last week we had our Ladies Fellowship on a Thursday night. It's usually the first Sat. of the month but in Nov we do something a bit special. People sign up to decorate tables in a fall theme of their choice and then we have dessert and a guest speaker. This was my first year to go, and Ari and I decided to decorate in nerdy theme that fit us both... books! It was a fun night!
On Nov 2 we had a pancake breakfast that we helpd out with as it was a fundraiser for the youth group. Jason and I were in charge of the kitchen and making sure the pancakes, eggs, and sausage were delicious and done in time for the guests! Our other days/nights have been/will be filled with book club, vising friends with new babies, babysitting, dinner for six, Jewery parties, movies, going to Montana for Thanksgiving, and many other random things. I do have to decorate for Christmas right after Thanksgiving as we are hosting a Christmas party the first weekend in Dec. AH! I'm not ready for it to be Christmas already!!! Guess we need to keep things less busy, so I can enjoy our fireplace when it's installed! :) Can't tell I'm excited about that one, can you? First of all... Happy Anniversary to my parents today! 32 years of marriage, congrats!!! This is just a short post about a few projects I've gotten done. Here is one that I stole from Melissa Warix :) I love books. Like, really really love books and love to read. I thought having book shelves made out of books was something that I just had to have! This next one is a project that I've wanted to do for a little while. I'm not sure I like the fabric that I chose to put on the frame, but this chalkboard was the perfect little something that I needed in this spot! I converted a picture frame that was on clearance at Michael's into a colorful chalkboard: This last one is in the bathroom on the main floor. I haven't wanted to decorate it, so it's taken me two years :) (AH! we closed on our house 2 years ago today! I just realized that. Happy house owning anniversary to us! :) It's still a work in progress but I'm liking what I have so far. The mirror was left by the previous owners and it was an ugly gold. Mom helped me paint it silver. Then the frames I found at Goodwill and I spray painted them a brushed nickel. The picture on the canvas was something we purchased in the Dominican while on our honeymoon. You can't really tell from this picture, but the walls are an awesome shade of purple. I wanted to paint our kitchen purple, but the J-ster said no. So I had to settle for a purple bathroom. I feel like these pictures aren't a great representation of our home and how I've decorated. Maybe more pictures will come in the future :) I'm sure with Winter coming I'll be doing a lot more projects!
