Today I made myself an iced coffee, just to switch it up a little. I thought I'd share my iced coffee recipe as I've tried a few different ways, but this one is the best (so far). Thanks to Sara who is an ex-Starbucks professional and shared her recipe with me! I use this recipe all summer long!
And because I'm having fun with an app that Amanda shared with me, I of course couldn't just type out the recipe :)
Sara gave me an ice cube tray that's in the same of coffee beans which I like to use :) It makes a big difference using coffee ice cubes vs normal ice cubes. Then your iced coffee doesn't get watered down. Also, adding the sugar to the coffee while it's still hot is very important. It melts the sugar and makes a big difference in taste. The last time I made this, I added a little cinnamon to the coffee grounds. I also add a little half and half when I pour myself a glass of iced coffee. Guess it would have been easier to type all this out instead!
Hope you enjoy!
