I've finally gotten motivated to start thinking and doing a few things for the nursery. The room is already purple and gray, so no need to paint! Purple, gray, and a turquoise/green will be the colors. We do (well I do) have a running list going of all that we want to do, and a few projects for my overly creative parents.
Speaking of, my mother is probably the most creative/crafty mother there is. No joke. She also knows my taste better than I do. She has designed a quilt for Baby and started making it.... and I'm going to give you a look at what she has done so far! She has hit the mark perfectly with what I want to do with the chevron and polka dot mixed together! But seriously, this lady is insane (in a good way). She draws up the quilt design, makes her own patterns, and then just goes to town like it's no big deal. I'm afraid it's going to be too pretty to use!
I did purchase my first few things for the baby room this week. A few decorations and an antique dresser that we'll use as a changing table. This is going to be fun :)
Jason and I went to Buy Buy Baby with Becky the other night. After we were about to leave, Jason asked "So, is it going to be like this with every kid?" Haha :) Nope! We only get to go crazy with the new baby stuff on the first kid, so enjoy it babe!
