We do love our little miss and we are so excited for her birthday!
We are 39 weeks all along and can't wait to meet our little love. I'm not sure she got the memo that she is due to make her appearance an Friday or not... I'm guessing not and that we will be having a Dec baby. I'm not sure I can handle the suspense!

I have been cleaning up my work computer and getting rid of personal items since I don't know who will have access to my computer after tomorrow (yay! tomorrow!!). I found a few little.. pictures? Not sure what to call them... that I was going to post on here at random times when I haven't posted for a while and just wanted to put something up quick. I haven't used them yet, so I decided to post them all now. Why not! All of them struck a cord with me, whether it be serious or silly. We have one of my favorite bible verse and a Spurgeon quote that I liked: And now for the less serious, but books and coffee are a big part of my life ;) So there you have it... a pointless blog post today. Enjoy!
It's crazy to think that baby girl's due date is the end of next week already! Can't wait to find out when her birthday will be! Hopefully sooner than later, but I'm trying to prepare myself for later. We are at the point where I don't have much that will fit over the belly (sheesh! look at how big it is! I'm afraid this "little" girl won't be as little as I've been hoping for!), winter coats do not zip, and I feel like an old lady when I walk. Gotta be getting close, right? This is my last week of work before my maternity leave starts! This fact has helped keep me from diving into the winter depression that I get at the change of season (and pretty much all winter). Knowing that I won't have to drive on the horrible roads every day and night does wonders for my mental health :) Can't believe we are finally this close! We are also starting a prepping for parenting class tonight. It's a 5 week class that gives the Christian view point of Baby Wise. We should be well educated by the time baby girl joins us... hopefully it'll help us out in the long run! Needless to say I am really looking fwd to the end of this week! Life will be very different and I'm excited for this new change :) My parents are driving out on Monday for Thanksgiving, but are prepared to come earlier if baby decides to obey her momma and come early (not holding my breath on that one.. she'll be as stubborn as I was (*ahem or am) I'm sure). It'll be fun to be able to spend the days with my parents instead of only evenings! Though it will be a change, I've been working full time for about 10 years and am used to bringing in an income. People say that I'll still be working as a mom and longer hours, but I don't view motherhood as a job. It's just life! Soon my posts will be about other things than pregnancy :) Can't wait! (I keep forgetting that there is a holiday next week (Thanksgiving). It's weird to not be counting down the days till I have a 4 day weekend!) Here we are at 36.8 weeks ;) I'll be 37 weeks on Friday. We have discovered this week that it's definitely time to start slowing down. We were a bit too ambitious and in a 8 days only had 1 day at home. By Sunday I was really feeling it so Jason cancelled the two events we had that day so I could just be home and rest. It's really hard to slow down! Hopefully only 3ish more weeks left before baby comes (the little stinker better not be too "late") and 2 weeks and 3 days before my maternity leave starts! Wowza! |
Megan FremontI'm a Christian. I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to a sweet little girl and a handsome little man. I've lived in MT, MN, KS, CA, N.Z., I like to travel. I love dark chocolate and coffee. I grew up on a farm and never learned to drive stick, I went to a two-room school house for nine years, I love Fall in MN (except for the fact I'm always cold), I miss the Montana Sky, and I'm new to blogging.
