I obviously love to read. Do you? I think it's fun to see the list above and to see all the books that I've gotten lost in. I've been a slave owner's daughter in the South during the Civil War, lived on a house boat in Seattle, Lost in Shangra-La, in Paris during WWII, Chicago during the World's Fair, experienced what it was like to fly with Lucky Lindy, and know what it's like to try to become an actress in NYC.
It's still bitterly cold here. It's a -20 here with wind chill. In Dec and Jan it's been below zero more than it has been above. We are setting records of having the coldest Dec and Jan since 1982. My husband would say "Aren't you proud to be living here?? You can tell people you are living in record setting cold and you are surviving!" . I think I'd dispute his definition of "surviving". I would also call him crazy to think it's something to be proud of! :)
But when it's cold out, all the better to curl up with a book... right? Maybe in 2014 I'll meet a new book reading goal. I only have 83 on my to read list....
(I know I didn't update about Christmas.. I have a few pictures I want to use that are on my computer at home. If I can pry my hands away from a warm cup of coffee long enough to upload them on here when I am at home then I'll do it! (this was for Monica ;))
P.S. If you don't use Goodreads and love to read, you need to check it out! It's an easy way to find books you want to read, to keep track of what you have read, and to spy on your friends to see what they are reading that you should read!
