His sister Stephanie drove the 3ish hours up to Duluth alone so that she could hide in the bushes and take pictures of Jason proposing. I'm so thankful Jason thought to ask her to do that and that she was willing! Here are a few pictures of the day! *Side note: before Jason got down on one knee, he moved me into position. He knew where Stephanie was hiding and my back was to her so he moved me over. Maybe wasn't super smooth ;) but he helped make the pictures turn out!
October 2 has been a special day for me for four years now. Jason will roll his eyes and tease me about dates that I like to keep track of, but deep down I think he is actually touched that October 2 means so much to me. It's the day that Jason proposed and I became his fiancé! He took me to Duluth for the day and we ended up at a "beach" after we ate at The Vanilla Bean in Two Harbors. He told me that he loved me, and I promptly replied that I loved him back. He must have felt that he didn't convey what he really meant because his next words were "No, I really love you". Time stood still for a moment and he got a knee dirty (as my former teacher/pastor Rick Holland would say). I couldn't get the ring on my finger fast enough. Maybe I should have let him put it on my finger? I saw the beautiful, sparkly ring and just grabbed it and then jumped into J's arms when he was standing up. I'm sure I told him yes while all that was going on, but I think the ring disappearing from his hand gave him the answer he needed. It's been a fun four years as I got to be his fiancé, and then his wife, and soon to be the mother of his child. We can't express how excited and thankful we are for this new chapter in our lives. Only 8(ish) more weeks to go until we get to meet this precious little girl! Had to end the post with an updated belly shot :) 31 Weeks! Will be 32 weeks on Friday.

Megan FremontI'm a Christian. I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to a sweet little girl and a handsome little man. I've lived in MT, MN, KS, CA, N.Z., I like to travel. I love dark chocolate and coffee. I grew up on a farm and never learned to drive stick, I went to a two-room school house for nine years, I love Fall in MN (except for the fact I'm always cold), I miss the Montana Sky, and I'm new to blogging.
