It has been very interesting. Thankfully, until yesterday, I haven't felt hungry. Just weaker and light headed, which aren't good feelings either. I took the week off of exercising, but Jason decided to go play basketball twice this week. That could contribute to why this is much harder for him than me!
We have kept pretty busy this week, which helps a ton! Monday I had book club, Tues I met up with a girl in our jr high ministry for coffee while Jason went to a softball game and helped move some things for a garage sale, Wed was church and Thursday we went to a funeral after work and then a movie with friends.
Today is a big day though. It's our last day of having to have this diet. We have to be careful going back on real food (as I call it), so we stocked up on some low fat food that's recommended. Jason has never ever wanted tuna this bad in his life! :)
It's also a big day today because of the next step (and final step) of the cleanse:
Hopefully this will be worth it in the end! I've had pain still from when I had pneumonia back in Oct, so this is supposed to help with that. Maybe we'll be better at self-control with food? ha!
I just have to say that I am thankful that Jason did this with me. I think we've learned a lot about each other, it shows how much he loves me (I could NEVER have cooked for him or smelled food of any kind in our house while I was on this cleanse), and shows how much he supports me.
So! Half way through day 6!! I have medical food and steamed broccoli waiting for me for lunch... again. It's what I've had for 16 meals (no veggies at breakfast though.. that's just crossing a line!)
We are both SOOOOOO looking forward to Tuna.
