We had a great Christmas in Montana this year. The Tolzmann's and us caravanned to Eastern Montana and found our homey, underground house that we group in all lite up with Chrismas lights. Mom ran out to great us and Dad was poking the fire. The thing I love about going home, is that it's almost impossible to be stressed out there. You just automatically relax out. When I was in college, what got me through finals and all the stress that goes with it was knowing I would be going to Eastern Montana soon.
Sunday evening Red Top Church had a Soup and Sing event for the community. We enjoyed a delicious meal and then got to sing Christmas songs and listen to some special numbers. Christmas Day we had Bob, LaVonne, Cole, and Melissa Johnson over. We played Taboo, ate lots, played ping-pong, ate some more, and of course had lots of laughs :)
Andrew hunted every day we were out there... Jason joined him a few times... and Monica and I even went out with them once!
The day after Christmas we packed up and drove the 6 hours west to Red Lodge, Montana. We rented a cabin for 3 nights and had about 2.5 days out there. It was a blast :) Mom was able to relax since she wasn't at home so she didn't feel like she had to get things done. We brought food so we didn't have to eat out every meal, but we also got to try out their restaurants and found some really wonderful pizza at Red Lodge Pizza Co. Yum. Here is the cabin we stayed in:
