The next evening we got to see Aunt Byrd and Uncle Rikk! They live in Kansas City and happened to be in the Twin Cities area for a whole day. They took us out to eat in Stillwater at the Dock Cafe. It was also a treat to show them our house! They were here a year ago and saw our house with the carpet ripped up and no paint on the walls. It was a complete mess the last time they were here. Hopefully they thought they thought the changes were for the better! It was Aunt Byrd's birthday the next day, so we called our dinner her birthday dinner :)
Halloween fell on a Wednesday this year. The past two years Jason and I have gone over to his sister and brother in law's to go trick or treating with our their little girls. Since it was on a Wednesday we had church so didn't get to see them dressed up as a lion and an owl this year. We are already looking forward to seeing them all dressed up next year! After church a group of us did dress up so we could go to Chipotle and get a $2 burrito. Jason and I left our costumes till the last minute. I don't think any explanation is needed, right? Jason's sign takes care of all that lol. He even cut off part of his "ear" from the hat he was wearing to tape to his pants for a tail. Do you like the gun he made for me as well? Too bad having eyes closed in a picture seems to be a trait that can get passed on from one generation to the next ;)

Megan FremontI'm a Christian. I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to a sweet little girl and a handsome little man. I've lived in MT, MN, KS, CA, N.Z., I like to travel. I love dark chocolate and coffee. I grew up on a farm and never learned to drive stick, I went to a two-room school house for nine years, I love Fall in MN (except for the fact I'm always cold), I miss the Montana Sky, and I'm new to blogging.
