~ Our Emery Kate (aka Boo Boo, Baby, Emey, Emey Kay, Sister) turned 2! She amazes us every day with what she learns and how quickly she is changing. She loves to make Buddy laugh and she also loves to jump! She is a ball of energy and we love her so much. She is really into Paw Patrol and Sofia the First so we did a Paw Patrol themed party. Just so cute! Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl!
I have missed a lot of events since my last post. It's too overwhelming to try to catch up on everything. I'll just do quick updates: ~ Our Emery Kate (aka Boo Boo, Baby, Emey, Emey Kay, Sister) turned 2! ~ We went to MT for Christmas! Monica, Emery, Everett, and I went early and Andrew and Jason came a few days later. It was a fun time for sure. Emery loved having Grandma and Grandpa to play with and quickly found out they would gladly do anything she wanted. Everett had a harder time with sleeping, which made me have a harder time. Turns out my dad is the Everett Whisperer and could make Everett magically stop fussing (or make any noise for that matter) just by holding him. Dad would walk around with him humming country western songs and Everett would just sit in his arms looking as content as could be. The drive there and back went really well for having two little ones. The last two hours were really tough for the kids (both ways) and boy were we glad to get them out of their carseats when we could! ~ Our little Everett Jack (aka Buddy, EJ, Ev, little man) has been growing so fast! It just amazes me to see how little he was at Christmas compared to now! He went 11.5 hours last night! I can't wait till he does that consistently. He started solids a week before he turned 6 months. He just loves his sister, is a momma's boy, but only daddy can get him to really laugh. Here are his monthly photos to date! ~ Valentines Day Photo! ~ Most recently, My parents were here for a week while Jason got to attend the Shepherd's Conference in CA. I was super sad to not get to go along, but it was a good week with mom and dad here. Mom and I also hosted a shower for Monica while they were here! It would have a been a very long 4 days without Jason, so I am very thankful dad has flexibility right now with farming so they could come out! Emery loved it. She got to watch a movie for the first time (Frozen), go to The Wishing Tree, and have G & G at her every command. I think that catches us up on the major events. Time goes by so fast, and yet a little slow, at the same time for a stay at home mom. It has been harder for me this time around with not having enough sleep. I am part of a women's book study at church on Tues (it's an 8 week study), and in my small group there I felt really convicted that I needed to get up early to have Bible time. It's been so hard to get that going consistently since Everett has been born. I have been SO tired. It's been really good for me to get back into that. By Friday I am about to collapse with how tired I am, but I need to be in the Word and I know that. Everett has been doing good at night, but still have to get up once to feed him. I think I'm too old to be having babies so close together :) It is amazing how quick I can be to forget what a blessing it is to be home with my babies, and to forget how quickly this stage passes.

Megan FremontI'm a Christian. I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to a sweet little girl and a handsome little man. I've lived in MT, MN, KS, CA, N.Z., I like to travel. I love dark chocolate and coffee. I grew up on a farm and never learned to drive stick, I went to a two-room school house for nine years, I love Fall in MN (except for the fact I'm always cold), I miss the Montana Sky, and I'm new to blogging.
