So far it's been a pretty "easy" pregnancy. I experienced morning sickness only once, and that was at 13 weeks. I've been extremely tired, have had headaches that last for 4 days and go away for a few days and come back for 4 more days, and the first 9 weeks felt really gross in the evenings. Overall, I've been very thankful... I am praying the headaches go away soon!
Here are some of the "official" baby bump pictures.
The first one is from 10 weeks and the next one is 13 weeks. I am looking fwd to looking pregnant, and not like I've just been eating too many donuts.
We did go out to eat at Lindey's Steak House. Super good. Super outdated decor. But super good. Jason had three redish/orange roses for me and had left notes taped around the house :) I love finding notes from him!
I'm finding myself really loving and cherishing these day we have left with just the two of us. The past three years have been so great. Of course the years have had their ups and downs and trials and growing seasons, but it has all been for our good. I'm so thankful to walk through life's trials and joys with him! We have been able to be involved in several different ministries at church and have been free to host any event that we have been needed to/wanted to. I'm sure we'll still be just as involved, but I do see my role changing a bit as we have a little one that will take priority. I must admit, it's also fun to be able to take any day trips or go to a late night movie or to just be free to do what we want when we want when we want. I know this sounds selfish, but it is part of what married couples with no kids can enjoy!
I am looking forward to the changes that are coming. I know I know! Every mom says that it's a wonderful/better change. I still know it'll be an adjustment and sacrifices will be involved. We have been praying for this baby for a while, and feel so blessed an thankful for how the Lord has answered our prayers.
So here we go! Jason and I are on to the next adventure! First was long distance dating, then marriage, and now a baby!
(the above was written last week.. not sure why I didn't post it...)
This past weekend my parents came to visit! Mom was a little anxious to see us and to see me pregnant. Dad seemed a little anxious to be away from the farm, but I think he was just as anxious to come out as Mom was. After we grilled out on Friday night, the men (dad, Jason, and Andrew) went fishing with Jack. I think Dad really enjoyed it :)
